Rest assured, we’ve spent the last several months developing and fine-tuning our Caesars Entertainment health and safety protocols, which enhance our existing plans and practices in these areas. Our priority is the health and well-being of our guests and team members, while creating a fun and enjoyable experience, emphasizing physical distancing and cleanliness. The enhanced health and safety protocols include more frequent cleaning and sanitation, temperature checks and screenings for team members and guests, and in accordance with New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy’s guidelines, all guests and team members will be required to wear masks. You can review our entire Health & Safety Plan, here, as well as our mask policy, here.

Below is a glimpse into our reopening plan next week at each resort, including our health and safety plan and a summary of the amenities available at each resort. Our team has been working hard, complying with directives issued by New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, local government officials, and public health authorities, to make enhancements to our casino floors. We have rearranged slot machine banks to allow for appropriate social distancing, and fewer seats will allow for better spacing at table games. Additionally, all hospitality offerings & restaurants will reopen adhering to a reduced capacity and with social distancing practices in place.
Complete hours of operation can be found on our website at Caesars.com.

Health & Safety Summary:

  • Hand sanitizer stations will be placed throughout our properties and team members will offer hand sanitizer to guests regularly.
  • Team members will encourage guests to follow appropriate physical distancing by arranging waiting lines accordingly and limiting occupancy as necessary.
  • All team members and guests must wear masks at all times, except when eating or drinking.
  • As part of a health sceening program for all Caesars team members, each will complete a questionnaire about their health prior to returning to work. Additionally, temperature checks will be conducted for every Caesars team member before every shift.
  • Slot machines will be configured to allow for physical distancing and will be cleaned and disinfected frequently.
  • The number of players will be limited at table games and frequent sanitizing of chips, cards and dice will occur at all table games.
  • At our restaurants and bars, tables will be arranged to allow for appropriate physical distancing and large parties will be limited.
  • Pool chairs, loungers and cabanas will be arranged to allow for appropriate physical distancing and will be cleaned and disinfected frequently.
  • Additional amenities, such as our fitness centers and spas will open on future dates, as part of a phased approach that will comply with government directives.

Statement Regarding Caesars Entertainment’s Atlantic City Casinos

Harrahs casino buffet price

Today, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy issued an emergency order to close all New Jersey casinos to the public indefinitely, due to the serious public health emergency created by the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a result, Caesars Entertainment’s Atlantic City casinos – Caesars, Harrah’s Resort and Bally’s – will be temporarily closed effective at 8 PM tonight, Monday, March 16, 2020.

To be clear, there have been no reported cases of COVID-19 at any of our Atlantic City resorts to date. However, for the health and safety of our team members and guests, the casino will close to the public beginning tonight.

This decision is a precautionary measure only, made to ensure we are in compliance with local rules and regulations.

Please know that we have taken every step and precaution to promote the health and well-being of our guests and team members, and will continue to do so. We’ve implemented enhanced cleaning and sanitizing protocols throughout our facilities, based upon recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control. More information on those protocols is available here.

We are currently working with hotel guests at our resorts to ensure they can rearrange their travel itineraries. All hotel reservations will be cancelled from now through Thursday, April 2, 2020. Any pre-payments will be refunded.

During the closure, Caesars will be paying two weeks of pay to all team members and benefits will not be interrupted.

We will also be working to donate food items from our restaurants during this time to The Community Food Bank to help support others in need throughout South Jersey.

Caesars is closely monitoring this evolving situation and will work with local officials to establish a reopening date as soon as it is appropriate to do so. We look forward to welcoming back team members and guests soon. Thank you for your loyalty during this unprecedented time.
